Esmé Laroux, more commonly known as 'Albatross', is wanted for multiple counts of grand larceny, piracy, petty theft, assault, and murder.
Albatross has medium-brown skin, long 3B orange hair, and brown eyes. She regularly wears a decorative black leather eyepatch. Her hair is typically tied back in a high ponytail, her face curtained with bangs. She wears light clothing, usually in light beige or navy tones. She frequently wears ornamental gold jewelery. She has a small scar across her upper lip.
Albatross is outgoing and brazen. She is dedicated to her work, at which she is efficient, brutally practical, and competitive to a fault. In her personal life, she is impulsive and stubborn, often discarding people before she reaches a point of personal vulnerability with them. She is, above all, dangerous.
Albatross became a pirate aboard the Kraken's Maw at the age of 19 under Captain Barracuda. Over the course of seven years she became one of the most prominent members of the crew, and was frequently seen participating in raids on merchant ships and private vessels. Her whereabouts have been unknown since the reported destruction of the Kraken's Maw.
Albatross was born as Esmé Laroux to mother Johanne Laroux and an unknown father. In her youth, Esmé was known amongst her community for repeated instances of petty theft. She stole from local merchants and tourists to provide for her mother, who became disabled after the island riots of the decade. On turning 13 she left her town to work aboard various merchant vessels, until she was eventually abducted and later recruited by Barracuda.
